Terms of Service
Last Updated: [July 31st, 2026]
Welcome to STEMtastic Kids. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, registration forms, programs, workshops, events, birthday parties, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By visiting our website, registering a child for a program or event, booking a party, making a purchase, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the website or register for our Services.
1. About STEMtastic Kids
STEMtastic Kids provides hands-on, age-appropriate STEM learning experiences for children. Our offerings may include workshops, camps, classes, multi-week programs, birthday parties, school or community events, educational activities, and take-home learning materials.
Throughout these Terms, “STEMtastic Kids,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to STEMtastic Kids, doing business as STEMtastic Kids.
2. Parent or Guardian Responsibility
STEMtastic Kids programs and events are designed for children; however, registrations, purchases, bookings, and website use must be completed by a parent or legal guardian who is at least 18 years old.
By registering a child, you represent that:
You are the child’s parent or legal guardian, or you have authority to enroll the child.
The information you provide is accurate and current.
You will provide any required emergency contact, health, accommodation, or participation information before the program or event.
You will complete any required Parent Agreement, waiver, release, or event-specific form before participation.
A child may not participate if required registration forms, agreements, or payment have not been completed.
3. Registration, Bookings, and Payments
Registration is not confirmed until all required information, agreements, and payment have been received.
Program availability is limited and may be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. STEMtastic Kids reserves the right to decline, cancel, or reschedule a registration, booking, workshop, program, or event when reasonably necessary, including because of low enrollment, instructor availability, facility needs, weather, safety concerns, or circumstances outside our control.
Prices, program details, dates, locations, and availability may change. Any confirmed booking will be governed by the information provided at the time of registration, unless we notify you of a necessary change.
4. Cancellations, Refunds, and Rescheduling
Unless different terms are listed on the specific registration or booking page:
Cancellation requests for workshops, programs, private events, or birthday parties must be submitted at least seven (7) business days before the scheduled date.
Requests made at least seven (7) business days in advance may be eligible to reschedule, subject to availability.
Cancellations made fewer than seven (7) business days before the scheduled date are not eligible for a refund or rescheduling.
No refunds or credits will be issued for missed classes, late arrivals, early departures, or no-shows.
STEMtastic Kids shirts included with an 8-week program enrollment are not separately refundable or exchangeable.
Any merchandise, take-home kits, or event materials are final sale unless otherwise required by law.
If STEMtastic Kids cancels a program or event, we will make reasonable efforts to offer a rescheduled date, account credit, or refund, as appropriate.

Note: Maryland advises businesses to clearly post their return or refund policies. Make sure this section exactly matches the policy used at checkout, in confirmation emails, and in parent agreements. (oag.maryland.gov)
5. Participant Conduct and Safety
We are committed to creating a fun, welcoming, respectful, and safe learning environment for every child and family. Parents, guardians, participants, and guests are expected to treat instructors, staff, volunteers, other families, facilities, and materials with care and respect. STEMtastic Kids may remove a participant from an activity, program, or event if behavior is unsafe, disruptive, threatening, discriminatory, or damaging to people, property, or the learning environment.
If a participant is removed because of behavior or safety concerns, refunds will be determined at STEMtastic Kids’ discretion and may not be available. Parents and guardians remain responsible for their child’s behavior and for any damage caused by the child or accompanying guests.
6. Health, Allergies, and Emergency Information
Parents and guardians are responsible for sharing relevant information that may affect a child’s safe participation, including allergies, medical conditions, accessibility needs, or other accommodations. While STEMtastic Kids will make reasonable efforts to support a positive experience, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment or provide medical care beyond basic first-aid response and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
In an emergency, STEMtastic Kids may contact the parent or guardian, emergency contacts, and/or emergency medical services. Any additional emergency authorization requirements will be included in the applicable Parent Agreement or registration form.
7. Parent Supervision and Pick-Up
Parents and guardians must follow the supervision, drop-off, pick-up, and attendance procedures provided for each program or event. For workshops or events where a parent or guardian is required to remain onsite, children must be supervised by their parent or guardian at all times. For drop-off programs, only authorized adults may pick up a child. STEMtastic Kids may request photo identification before releasing a child.
8. Photography and Media
STEMtastic Kids may take photographs or videos during programs, workshops, and events for educational, promotional, social media, website, or marketing purposes. Any permission for photography, video, testimonials, or a child’s likeness will be addressed through a separate media release or registration consent form. Parents and guardians may decline media permission where that option is provided.
Please do not photograph or record other children, families, staff members, or participants without permission.
9. Children’s Privacy
STEMtastic Kids is intended to be used by parents, guardians, educators, and organizations—not by children independently. We do not knowingly ask children to submit personal information directly through our website. Parents and guardians should provide registration information on behalf of their children.
Our collection and use of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy. If STEMtastic Kids is covered by the federal Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”), it must provide required notices and obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting certain personal information online from children under 13. (ftc.gov)
10. Electronic Communications
By submitting a form, registering for a program, making a purchase, or contacting STEMtastic Kids, you agree that we may communicate with you electronically, including by email, text message where permitted and consented to, website notices, and registration updates.
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email. You may still receive non-promotional messages related to registrations, bookings, payments, schedule changes, or safety updates.

The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the website or Services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any legal action related to these Terms or the Services must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Maryland, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
